Vancouver Radiologists, which provides a full spectrum of professional diagnostic imaging services to the southwest Washington community, signed a 9,434 sf lease at Vancouver Village Shopping Center. The practice relocated its clinic from the Medical Center Physicians Building, 505 NE 87th Avenue in August of 2012 and is now open at the Vancouver Village Shopping Center location.
NAI Norris, Beggs & Simpson Vice President Tamara Fuller and Associate Vice President Ron Kawamoto represented Vancouver Radiologists, and Associate Vice President Pam Lindloff represented the landlord. Vancouver Village is at 4816 NE Thurston Way, close to Westfield Vancouver Mall.
The announcement comes as Vancouver Radiologists celebrates its 40th anniversary of providing diagnostic imaging services like Digital Mammography, X-ray, CT, MRI, Ultrasounds, DEXA and more. Given the considerable and ongoing changes in Clark County and in the local health care environment over this period of time, this is a significant milestone, Vancouver Radiologists President and CEO Dr. John Schroeder said.
“We look forward to the opportunity to continue to serve our community at this new location, and appreciate the trust and confidence that local physicians have placed in our practice over the past four decades,” Dr. Schroeder said.
Vancouver Radiologists is owned by its 10 radiologists, and has 60 additional full-time employees. Vancouver Radiologists also has a clinic at South View Center at Fisher’s Landing, 3250 SE 164th Avenue.
In the past, medical offices were often clustered around hospitals or in areas with many like tenants. But the past few years have seen more medical tenants leasing retail space over traditional office, Fuller said.
“Medical tenants know that patients value convenience, and being located in a major retail area where patients can easily shop and go out to eat nearby is very beneficial,” Fuller said.
