Janet Mendel-Hartvig, M.D.

 Vancouver Radiologists, P.C. welcomes Dr. Janet Mendel-Hartvig to our team of Radiologists.

A native of Canada, she started her schooling at Western Washington University earning a degree in both Biology and Chemistry. From there she earned her PhD in Biochemistry from the University of Oregon and completed medical school and her residency at OHSU. Dr. Mendel-Hartvig specializes in pediatric and musculoskeletal imaging. She has been certified in medicine since 1997 and radiology since 2002.

Dr. Mendel-Hartvig worked previously at OHSU before joining Vancouver Radiologists. She was attracted to VanRad by the expertise, integrity, and job satisfaction of the radiologists and staff.
Erik Kilgore, M.D.
Dr. Erik Kilgore
Dr. Erik Kilgore obtained his Medical Degree at the Vanderbilt University School of Medicine in Nashville, Tennessee. He completed a residency in Diagnostic Radiology as well as a fellowship in Nuclear Medicine at the Bowman Gray School of Medicine in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

He comes to the Vancouver area from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock where he served as an Assistant Professor of Radiology and Chief of the Nuclear Medicine section.

In addition to certification by the American Board of Radiology, Dr. Kilgore is also certified by the American Board of Nuclear Medicine. His specific interests are Oncology Imaging and Positron Emission Tomography. He is the author of numerous publications and has received several awards for teaching excellence
